Humidity is a concept that can mean many things: polluted air, fog on humid mornings, or the water that drips from your cold windowsill in winter when warm indoor air hits the cold glass. There are good devices to measure this: the hygrometer. Most versions nowadays combine temperature and humidity in one meter — useful for our bird enclosure, so you can see at a glance what the status is.
