Beautiful but not easy: the lutino. Introduction Anyone who knows me knows that I have a preference for fat birds — especially those with red eyes. Despite the realization that this is not easy, I have been trying to breed these birds for many years. I have achieved reasonably good results with the albino, even better with the rubino, but slightly less so with the lutino. Nevertheless, they are beautiful birds to breed, although I would not recommend them for novice breeders. The lutino is available in intensive and fungal variants, and in yellow, with or without the ivory factor.
