This will certainly be nothing new for the experienced breeder of canary birds and/or mutations. The fact that top birds are immediately bred as soon as stock breeding is done properly is also a bit of an exaggeration - but still: STOCK BREEDING IS THE SHORTEST ROAD TO THE RESULT. People are often tempted to say that top breeders know many tricks, but I think that there are few tricks to be learned during the entire breeding process. Proper pairing with good, healthy birds — and knowledge of the background of the breeding birds (the tribe) — will yield the best results.
