It is very important to recognize in time when something is wrong with your birds. If you notice this early enough, you can prevent a lot of suffering: deaths in young birds, older birds that become ill, no longer fertilized, no longer fed - and ultimately death. Timely intervention, through your own knowledge or with the help of the vet, makes a world of difference. Many growers recognize disease in time — and thus prevent a lot of trouble.
