Actually, this section should be left to an expert veterinarian. Unfortunately, veterinarians who specialize in cage and aviary birds are still few and far between and often lack practical experience in this area. In addition, research costs usually exceed the value of the bird. However, I advise both the inexperienced fancier and the more experienced breeder to consult a veterinarian in the event of multiple deaths within a short time or to send the bird for an autopsy.
