Administering medicines to birds: Part 11. w.v.gils There are different ways to administer a medicine to a bird. What's the best way? This is the one that results in the medicine in its entire dose arriving at the site where it has to act. Individual treatment of the birds, one by one by means of an injection in the beak or, but it will be clear that this is only recommended for veterinarians, an injection in the chest, neck or wing muscles is the most certain method.
