CLASSIFICATION OF SPECIES
To help all bird watchers, ornithologists, zoologists and others around the world understand which bird is being talked about, a system of scientific names has been developed based on Latin as the international scientific language. It was Carl Von Linne (CARALOS LINNAEUS), the Swedish naturalist who lived from 1707 to 1778, who introduced these standards in his work "Systema Naturae". Naturally, these standards have subsequently been changed and improved on various points.
- He started by dividing all birds into classes AVES (=birds), which were then divided into orders.
