After my article about the power of inbreeding and the reactions it received, I also want to write something about its dangers. The responses got me thinking. Of course you can achieve success with inbreeding — for many it is still the shortest route to results. But perhaps I have not sufficiently highlighted the possible dangers. Thanks to the enthusiasts who brought this to my attention: inbreeding not only produces good qualities, but can also pose dangers if you do not handle it carefully.
