Phaeo bruin rood intensief

The Phaeo: GENERAL. With this mutation, the black or brown eumelanin is prevented from developing. The brown phaeomelanin remains untouched. This creates the typical phaeopattern (=inomutation). Only with the maximum pigment ranges (black brown) will the characteristics manifest themselves optimally. Due to the absence of brown and black eumelanin, the stripes have disappeared. The melanization around the shaft of the feathers and coverts has become melaninless, as have the contour feathers in the back and flanks, creating the typical 'ino pattern'.
