Whether a sick cage is useful or not, there will always be proponents and opponents of it. However, I personally believe that we should always give a sick bird a chance to recover, and everyone will agree with that. How we approach this differs from grower to grower. Medicines and treatment prescribed by the vet are of course indispensable, but personal experience and timely determining that a bird is sick also play a major role.
