It is often said, and rightly so, “Prevention is better than cure.” That certainly applies to this topic. I have to say that in 1999 no one has to suffer from lice in their breeding room and breeding cages anymore - in an outdoor aviary it is a different matter. Yet you regularly hear and see that many (too many) enthusiasts still suffer from it. And then you have to say, "That's your own fault." It doesn't have to happen. That's why once again an article about a method to keep your cages free of lice and other vermin. First a quick word about lice in general.
